The Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads has released the Integrated Freight Strategy for Queensland to provide a high-level strategic framework that supports more informed, consistent, coordinated and responsive strategies, plans and actions for the growing freight task in the state.
The Strategy will inform other transport planning and strategy documents which address specific modal decisions and contestability issues.
The Strategy is intended to enhance Queensland’s ability to respond to future freight growth and the associated issues, challenges and opportunities.
Agreement to bolster regional Queensland
