Develop the policy, regulatory and legislative frameworks that will shape and support the development of a carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) industry in the Northern Territory. 

The role of the successful candidate will be to research and analyse current the technical criteria, developments and challenges related to CCUS and provide technical advice to inform the development of world class CCUS legislation for the Northern Territory context. This role is required to produce high level technical reports, options papers and briefings, to underpin decision making in the development of a CCUS regulatory framework. This role will support the department on various technical working groups, with both internal and external stakeholders and as a member of the CCUS Development Team, work to maintain effective collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
