The opportunity:
As our Quality Assurance Coordinator you’ll use your specialised expertise to support the project delivery team and ensure there are optimal quality assurance programs and methodologies in place to deliver the CopperString 2032 project objectives and deliverables.
You will:
- Provide project and quality assurance support to our project delivery team
- Support the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and frameworks to enable high quality project management, project controls, reporting and delivery of the project.
- Provide support in project analysis, optimisation, improvement and reporting, to identify and implement efficient and innovative quality assurance and productivity improvements.
The people you'll join:
You will be joining a professional and dedicated Project Services team and you will be part of a high performing CopperString 2032 project delivery team, based in our CopperString 2032 project office in Bowen Hills.
CopperString 2032 is the largest ever economic development project in North Queensland, and one of the largest expansions to the power grid in Australia. The CopperString 2032 project will increase the transmission capacity to 500kV and build 840 kilometres of transmission line from just south of Townsville in the Burdekin region to Mount Isa. This project will further unlock the renewable energy potential of this region.
We need your specialised quality assurance expertise to support the development of high voltage transmission infrastructure for our CopperString 2032 project delivery.
What you'll bring:
- Advanced Diploma in Business Administration, Project Management or lesser qualification if coupled with significant experience in small scale project management.
- Experience in Quality Management Systems and internal auditing
We’d also need you to have demonstrated knowledge, experience and success in:
- Project management responsibilities to ensure the project is governed appropriately and completes on time, on budget and to the desired quality.
- Provide advice on quality assurance and business processes.
- Develop and deliver structured training to individuals around team work practices and processes, project standards, processes, and governance.
- Provide governance and status reports to boards, stakeholders and management.
- Manage and monitor project and program compliance with practice standards and governance.
- Microsoft Project, Word and Excel as tools in the preparation of presentations and reports.
