We are currently seeking a Property and Leasing Officer to join our team!
How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne…
This role will report into the Property and Leasing Manager. You will contribute to the day to day management of Council’s property portfolio through undertaking designated operational and statutory duties, with an emphasis on the management and negotiation of leases and licences, road discontinuances and property management activities. Utilising your knowledge of managing community and commercial properties you will provide property management support to client groups within Council as well as external stakeholders. As a key contact, you will be able to demonstrate exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders including tenants, contract service providers and members of the public.
To be considered for this role you will bring the following key attributes:
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Commitment to excellence through the identification and implementation of continuous improvement
- Strong interpersonal skills which has enabled you to negotiate and influence challenging customers and stakeholders
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- A background in property and/or contract management is preferred.

- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in customer service, managing stakeholder relationships and fostering positive partnerships, both internally and externally.
