The Parenting Group Facilitator plans, delivers and evaluates playgroup programs and assists in the development and delivery of parent education programs and playgroups.

You can bring… (selection criteria)
- Ability to demonstrate and display City of Melbourne Values – integrity, courage, accountability, respect and excellence;
- A tertiary qualification to Diploma level in Early Childhood or another relevant qualification with extensive experience in working with young children under school age
- An excellent understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and extensive knowledge of child development
- Experience in facilitating playgroups and providing programs and activities which support, foster and promote the learning of young children
- Experience in positive parent/child interactions
- Ability to work innovatively and flexibly and independently manage time and set priorities to achieve objectives in an efficient and timely manner
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to work effectively with diverse cultural, socio-economic, language and ability groups within an integrated team model of service delivery.
