Join the largest government authority in Northern Australia! Currently seeking a People and Culture Business Partner to join their busy team for a temporary assignment until end of November 2024.

About the role
This position will educate, influence, guide, coach and collaborate with internal stakeholders and shares responsibility for the delivery of all human resource, workforce planning, diversity and inclusion strategies. 

  • Model positive safety behaviours and lead Workplace Health and Safety compliance of relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements. 
  • Assist the Senior People and Culture Business Partner in designing and implementing approaches to improve organisational, operational and people strategies
  • Educate and influence stakeholders with regard to the implementation of consistent HR practices on all matters
  • Proactively provide analysis and make recommendations on management information reports and metrics which inform sections and teams on their performance against the people and culture strategy

About you
To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's level qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Law or any related qualifications is a plus!
  • Demonstrated ability to model the highest standard of ethical and professional behaviour
  • Current “C” class driver’s license
  • Proven experience (4+ years) in a HR/ER Business Partnering role within a diverse multi-disciplined organisation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
