ICT Infrastructure Manager

 

What you'll be doing

The ICT Infrastructure Manager manages and leads the technical risk, quality and progress of the ICT infrastructure work packages within ISLHDs development projects to ensure project outcomes are achieved. The role provides leadership and guidance to technical project team members both external and internal to ensure projects are completed to quality and technical standards and meet business requirements.

The ICT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the provision of high-quality technical advice and leadership across multiple project streams, platforms, vendors and technologies.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (2 doses) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. This is a temporary full time - 3 year contract with the possibility of an extension subject to funding. 

Selection Criteria

  1. Relevant tertiary qualification in ICT Project Management, or demonstrated equivalent work experience.
  2. Demonstrated ability of working in the digital health space, or in the ICT stream within construction project of similar magnitude.
  3. Demonstrated experience in applying expert project management knowledge to effectively lead and undertake complex projects, which have critical importance and significant impact on organisational goals and objectives.
  4. Demonstrated experience in planning, prioritising and organising work for self and others to achieve goals and meet deadlines, including dealing with competing demands and managing multiple projects and tasks.
  5. Ability to effectively lead and manage staff to foster initiative, promote teamwork, achieve outcomes, evoke creative and innovative thinking, and meet deadlines.
  6. Demonstrated experience in liaising effectively and working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, to facilitate cooperation and support in achieving outcomes and to establish and maintain strong effective working relationships.
  7. Demonstrated experience in analytical skills including the ability to assess and critically evaluate the validity of information to prepare reports and briefs for escalation or stakeholder review.
  8. Excellent oral, written communication skills and presentation skills with ability to conduct presentations comfortably to executive, stakeholders and large groups.
