Are you a dynamic and motivated communications professional looking for an exciting new challenge to lead in a stimulating and results-oriented work environment? Do you have sound understanding and experience in delivering Government communications and liaising effectively with a broad range of stakeholders? Then we want to hear from you at ACT Health where we have a vacancy for a Senior Manager Stakeholder Engagement Grade A. This role plays a pivotal role in managing the consumer experience and building quality stakeholder relationships between ACT Health and the broader community. Reporting to the Director, Communications and Engagement, the Senior Manager oversees a diverse range of communications and stakeholder engagement strategies and provides high-level advice to executives across the organisation on all elements of communications. The successful candidate must have a demonstrated track record of delivering communications at both strategic and operational levels as well as strong capacity for supporting teams working in a fast-paced and changing environment. They will be flexible and adaptable and have exceptional communication skills to develop and maintain relationships both within ACT Health and with relevant external parties.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Ideally, they should have tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, a detailed understanding of the health environment or the capability to quickly grasp the broad range of issues, as well as a demonstrated high-level commitment to the implementation of ACT Health Values, equity and diversity and health and safety initiatives. Experience in the private or non-government sectors is also desirable. Prior to commencement successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check.
