Manager - Water Program
Due to internal progression, Wurundjeri Corporation has an exciting opportunity available for a Water Program Manager to join the busy Narrap (Environmental) Team on a full time permanent basis.
Working from either Healesville or Abbotsford offices, and reporting to the Narrap Unit Manager, this position will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the execution and delivery of the Water Program including day to day operations
- Water related planning, management and governance
- Lead and manage the Water Program team
- Internal and external stakeholder management
- Manage the strategy, budget, financials and funding agreements for the Program, in conjunction with the Unit Manager
- Project management, reporting, administration and other related duties
The successful candidate will hold:
- Strong track record in a similar management role, preferably within a Traditional Owner organisation or community
- Experience leading and managing a team
- Tertiary qualifications in Water Science, Environmental Policy/Law, Natural Resource Management or similar
- A thorough knowledge of Victorian Water, particularly around Traditional Owner Sectors
- Superior written and verbal communication as well as high level business and financial acumen
- Current driver's licence
