Senior Manager Employee Communication

As Victoria's only state-wide health service, Ambulance Victoria (AV) occupies a unique role in the public health system. Last year, almost one million people experiencing a health emergency called on us for help.  We continue to evolve our service to meet the growing and increasingly complex needs of Victorians, to connect every patient to the right pathway of care - often hospital emergency, but increasingly not. The Communications & Stakeholder Relations team has recently restructured to better support AV's journey to becoming a modern, digitally connected ambulance service.

About the role

One of several new roles in the internal communication team, the Senior Manager Employee Communication reports to the Director Communication Employee & Digital.  Responsible for enterprise strategic, leadership, change and operational communications in a dedicated business-partnering model, the internal communication team works collaboratively across the Communication & Stakeholder Relations Division to deliver coordinated and integrated communication and community engagement aligned with organisational priorities, values and strategic goals.

About you

A tertiary qualified communications professional, you have acquired your specialist internal communication skills and experience in large, complex corporate or public sector organisations known for their best-practice employee communication. Acknowledged for your integrity, passion, initiative and accountability, you possess a relevant depth of experience developing, implementing and evaluating strategic, operational, behavioural or cultural change communications.  You demonstrate well-developed writing and story-telling capability across multiple platforms and formats, and an unerring attention to detail in your work. Experience with mobile or geographically dispersed workforces in sectors such as resources, aviation, logistics or healthcare, while not essential, would be well regarded.
