In this challenging and rewarding role, you will develop, implement and evaluate effective communications strategies and activities for a range of programs and services delivered by Country Health SA Local Health Network (CHSALHN). This will include delivering effective marketing campaigns to raise awareness and increase consumer uptake of services, particularly in the aged care and disability services market. You will play a pivotal role in using communications to support the effective engagement of staff, consumers and stakeholders in the planning and implementation of new regional services, along with changes to service delivery. Your key goal will be to ensure positive and appropriate messaging to inform target audiences and foster a positive attitude towards the Health Network. Country Health SA strives to ensure healthier, longer and better lives for all South Australians. Through a comprehensive and sustainable rural health system, Country Health SA is working with communities to achieve these aims. Core areas of focus include strengthening primary health care, enhancing hospital care, reforming mental health care and improving the health of Aboriginal people.
You will hold qualifications or have proven extensive experience in Communications, Marketing or a related discipline, and bring the ability to provide strategic and innovative solutions to complex communication problems. This will be demonstrated by your experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of communications strategies and activities, including media, publications, digital communications and social media. With proven ability to write for a range of audiences with a particular emphasis on detail, accuracy, plain English, grammar, punctuation, formatting and style, you will also possess strong interpersonal skills which equip you to facilitate teamwork and foster the cooperation of others using tact, discretion and impartiality.
