Power and Water Corporation is a Northern Territory Government (NTG) owned utility that operates across a geographic area of 1.3 million square kilometres and within a range of diverse environmental conditions, ranging from the arid dry of the central desert to the tropical monsoon of the top end. The corporation generates, transmits, and distributes electricity, supplies water and wastewater treatment services across the Northern Territory (NT) for the benefit of residents, including remote and isolated Aboriginal communities and outstations.
We have an exciting ongoing position available in Alice Springs, that will offer you the opportunity to build your career as an Asset Maintenance Officer with Power & Water. The Technical Coordinator role will assist with maintaining, regular auditing and improving the water supply and sewerage asset register, preventative maintenance, and condition assessment programs to help achieve asset management objectives, service standards, and commercial outcomes across both urban and remote communities.
We are searching for a candidate who is experienced in the Water and Sewer Industry Operations or has experience in strategic asset maintenance planning. The candidate would also have experience with asset creation and development of preventative maintenance programs within an asset management system.
AQF Certificate III in Water Industry Operations or knowledge and experience of asset condition inspections, assessment, and data collection techniques and ability to create and analyse data from asset management systems is also required.
