About The Role:

The Senior Systems and Cloud Engineer is a member of the infrastructure team providing expert (Level 3) support for the institute's IT Systems and Infrastructure, contributing to strategy road map, proactively driving improvements and technology assessments. This includes:

  • Standardising, Improving and Maintaining the Infra environment i.e. on prem and cloud footprints
  • Develops and plans implementations and changes to support all business systems and applications.
  • Monitoring all IT Infrastructure resources for availability and performance and responds to events
  • Develops and maintain DR plan, conduct regular DR drills as per institutes requirements.
  • Will be responsible for following technical stack
  • All of institutes servers Virtual/Physical (ie Linux and Windows)
  • M365 services(Entra ID, emails, defender)
  • Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, File servers
  • Storage Management
  • Backup systems
  • Vmware and VDI

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or similar field (essential)
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure (Highly Desirable)
  • VMware Certified Professional (Highly Desirable)
  • Azure Administration certification (Highly Desirable)
  • Azure/AWS architecture certification (Highly Desirable)
