Coordinator, Aboriginal Education Support & Experience

The Coordinator, Aboriginal Education Support and Experience, is a key position at The Gordon that skilfully negotiates strategic partnerships with Aboriginal Community, external stakeholders, and internal stakeholders across the Institute.

The role is responsible for coordinating a small high performing team to design and deliver successful student support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students as they encounter milestones across the student journey and beyond.

From a strong cultural base at the Kitjarra wurrun-ngeen, this position oversees culturally safe and welcoming spaces that engage students in an education context with mentorship and related initiatives that build life-long learning capabilities. The position reports to the Director – First Peoples Engagement, Education, Experience and works to develop trusted partnerships between the Gordon and Community in order to build strong channels of communication, learning, and continual improvement for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

Employment opportunity: Full Time Ongoing

Salary: $95,388 to $108,306 p.a. plus Superannuation
Superannuation is paid at the current superannuation guarantee rate.
