About the Role
As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will design, develop, and implement robust Salesforce solutions while ensuring best practices and driving process improvements. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, provide mentorship to junior developers, and take a lead role in system optimisation and monitoring.
- Development: Build secure, scalable Salesforce solutions and implement modern development practices (e.g., CI/CD, automated testing).
- Design & Delivery: Analyse requirements, design efficient solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet business needs.
- System Architecture: Lead the architecture and implementation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Documentation & Process Improvement: Maintain comprehensive solution documentation and continuously enhance development processes.
- Mentorship & Optimisation: Guide junior developers, ensure system reliability, and proactively resolve technical issues.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in IT, business, or equivalent professional experience
- Proven experience in DevOps environments, supporting Salesforce development and operations
- Strong Salesforce system administration skills, including security, reporting, and user support
- Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and declarative tools (e.g., Workflows, Process Builder)
- Advanced knowledge of REST APIs, Salesforce integrations, and Mulesoft
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern branching strategies
- Strong skills in data and object modeling
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Well-developed analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
