Senior Research Radiation Therapist

Alfred Health Radiation Oncology (AHRO)? 
Alfred Health Radiation Oncology (AHRO), a unit of Alfred Cancer, provides a full range of general radiation oncology and radiation therapy services in addition to some specialized services with both state and national significance. Services include external beam radiation therapy, brachytherapy and superficial modalities. The department is equipped with modern linear accelerators with surface guided imaging, stereotactic capabilities and the ability to deliver VMAT, DIBH, EEBH and IGRT techniques. AHRO has sites located at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne (Alfred Radiation Oncology – ARO) and at Latrobe Regional Hospital, Traralgon (Gippsland Radiation Oncology – GRO). ? 

Position Summary
The Senior Research Radiation Therapist will actively lead research projects within AHRO in accordance with the policies and strategic direction set by the AHRO Research Governance group. They will participate in the Research Operations Group to provide research communication, coordination, support, and mentorship primarily to Radiation Therapists. The incumbent will be required to lead research across ARO and GRO with travel and work across both campuses as required to undertake their role.
