As the Remuneration and Benefits Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the maintenance and improvements of Powerlink’s remuneration, employee benefits and reward frameworks and procedures.

Working closely with the Manager, Remuneration & People Insights, you will:

  • Facilitate the delivery of Powerlink’s job family architecture and position evaluation processes, providing advice in the creation and improvement of position descriptions to align to Powerlink’s job families and skill and capability frameworks.
  • Lead Powerlink’s benchmarking activities, including remuneration recommendations ensuring consistency across the business and externally to the broader market. 
  • Lead the delivery of the annual remuneration review – including the provision of relevant market pay and insights, employee communications and line-management decision making tools.
  • Proactively identify and analyse the compensation requirements for, and contribute to the development, implementation and management of people systems, compensation systems and tools to ensure an easy and positive experience for leaders and employees.

As a key member of the P&C Team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting internal stakeholders, uncovering their core needs with a goal to provide fit for purpose remuneration solutions across the business. 

What you’ll bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Business or similar – or lesser qualification, coupled with considerable Remuneration and Benefits experience
  • Accreditation in Korn Ferry Hay Job Evaluation Methodology 

We’d also love you to have:

  • Significant knowledge and practical experience gained in remuneration and benefits positions, with a strong focus on job evaluation, job design, remuneration and benefits.
  • Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and produce remuneration and people data analytics into valuable insights to inform decision making; and.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering people systems and people information projects that meet operational and strategic business needs.

Naturally, you are open to and adept at working at both strategic and operational levels, rolling your sleeves up to do what is required, to ensure your actions translate into delivery.
