Power and Water Corporation is a Northern Territory Government (NTG) owned utility that operates across a geographic area of 1.3 million square kilometres and within a range of diverse environmental conditions, ranging from the arid dry of the central desert to the tropical monsoon of the top end. The corporation generates, transmits and distributes electricity, supplies water and wastewater treatment services across the Northern Territory (NT) for the benefit of residents, including remote and isolated Aboriginal communities and outstations.

Are you interested in making a valuable contribution to our operational effectiveness by coordinating and overseeing the routine repairs, maintenance and servicing of water and wastewater assets across remote communities, assigned to the Darwin zone of the Northern Region?   We are looking for a Remote Technical Coordinator to join our Service Delivery North team, based in Darwin. 

You will help coordinate and support internal and external resources (including panel and other contractors, and Utility Support Contractors to achieve operational and maintenance programs as allocated.  

You will help provide 24/7 service coverage and prompt response to system interruptions, which will require regular travel to and undertaking inspections of remote community assets.  You will have minimum AQF Certificate III in water and wastewater operations or relevant trade qualification.
