We are seeking an identity & access management engineer experienced in the design and maintenance of IAM systems. You will be responsible for regular preventative maintenance and system updates of IAM infrastructure to ensure compliance with the organisation’s security policies and procedures.   

Experience with SailPoint is beneficial but not necessary as training will be provided. Exposure to Azure, Office365 and Powershell will also be considered favourably.

The NSW State Emergency Service (NSW SES) is an emergency and rescue service made up almost entirely of volunteers and supported by a small staff contingent. NSW SES is a key influencer of other emergency service agencies and works closely with these partners to modernise and grow volunteering to save lives and protect communities.

While major responsibilities are for flood, storm operations and tsunamis, the NSW SES also provides the majority of general rescue effort in the rural parts of the state. This includes road accident rescue, vertical rescue, bush search and rescue, evidence searches (both metropolitan and rural), other forms of specialist rescue that may be required due to local threats, Urban Search and Rescue and Community First Response.

About you

To be successful in this role, ideally you will have experience with:

  • Products built for identity & access management
  • Cloud administration in Microsoft Azure (or equivalent)
  • System design and implementation
  • Working inside a mid-size IT organisation with a focus on the customer
