Maintenance Planner - South West Sydney / Shoalhaven

 

Ready to make a splash in your career WaterNSW is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner (Full-time) to join our Greater Sydney Operations team based in South West Sydney/Shoalhaven

The role is to be responsible for planning and scheduling of maintenance activities for WaterNSW sites to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the maintenance plan. You will analyse and report on maintenance activities to ensure the continuous improvement in the delivery of the maintenance plan.

What you’ll do: 

  • Develop a schedule of planned works within a region of WaterNSW to ensure the maintenance program is delivered to keep assets compliant, meets the need of customers and reduce extraordinary financial costs. 
  • Develop a regional outage plan and ensure other maintenance projects are planned and coordinated in line with the maintenance schedule.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers and stakeholders to ensure availability of the assets and resources in order to deliver the maintenance work in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Ensure data is analysed and Key Performance Indicators are reviewed utilising the appropriate analysis techniques, for the continuous improvement in the delivery of the maintenance plan.
  • Contribute to the development, review and monitoring of operating and capital budgets as required. 

What we are looking for: 

  • Relevant Mechanical (Fitter) or Electrical Trade Qualifications, Tertiary or Professional Qualifications – Prior Experience within a Water/Production Environment is PREFERRED and a Current NSW Drivers License.
  • Strong computer literacy around Microsoft Applications, Including Excel.
  • Experience with the use of computerised Maintenance Management Systems and in the development of outage plans.
  • Experience in the scheduling of maintenance jobs and resource management.
