About the company:
Our client is a large Government agency tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia.  Our client is looking for a number of candidates to work at EL1 Assistant Director level with a strong focus on leadership within communications, marketing and events.

About the role:

  • Extensive stakeholder engagement across all levels of the organisation.
  • Leading and managing a team of Communications and Senior Communications Officers.
  • Leading and establishing a new program of work including roadshows, webinars and information sessions in the community.
  • Leading the development of ministerial briefs, presentations, speeches, summary reports and website conten.t
  • Managing all communication channels.
  • Providing ongoing support to the events team.
  • Market research.
  • Running and leading projects including co-design. 

About you:

  • You will have previous leadership and management experience
  • You will ideally have previous experience running projects within a commercial or government setting
  • You will have extensive experience working in either communication, marketing or events 
  • You will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills and be able to communicate at all levels of the organisation
  • Experience working within the disability, aged care, health or community services sector would be highly desirable 

Benefits:

  • ASAP start (pending Federal Police Clearance)
  • 4-6 month temporary assignments
  • Full time hours Monday to Friday 
  • Locations considered - Canberra, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne
  • $75 - $90 per hour + super
