Come and join our fantastic team of clinical trial researchers in the St Vincents Centre for Applied Medical Research! Located in the heart of Sydney's CBD, our state-of-the-art research centre spans Darlinghurst.

We have a great opportunity to lead a dynamic team of clinical trial coordinators and research support staff to coordinate and establish clinical trials and research in the area of Haematology. This is an onsite role which includes practical coordination or nursing and medical care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary health care teams.

About you:
An energetic Clinical Research Project Manager (Haematology) who possess a passion for person centred care. We welcome applications from people who have extensive experience in clinical trials and the implementation and oversight of ICH GCP.

You must bring a high-level commitment to excellence in all aspects of the role from leading your team to interacting with others and of course clinical research.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia.
  2. Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency or hold tertiary qualifications in Allied Health, Medicine, Pharmacy or other health related discipline.
  3. Understanding of ICH-GCP principles and the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) policy and procedures.
  4. Extensive experience in clinical research trials particularly pharmaceutical.
  5. Demonstrated clinical leadership in the development of clinical research coordination, clinical practice and clinical trial management and the ability to mentor junior trial coordinators.
  6. Effective interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
  7. Actively contributes to the professional development of self and others.
  8. Demonstrated knowledge of financial management of trial budgets and CTMS database management.
