Legal Counsel
ActewAGL’s in-house legal team is seeking a highly organised, collaborative, dynamic lawyer to join its team as a Legal Counsel. Reporting to the Group Manager Legal, this position will be responsible for providing legal services and support on a broad range of issues to ActewAGL Retail, ActewAGL Distribution (including Evoenergy) and their related businesses.
About the role
A day in the life of a Legal Counsel would include but not limited to :
The successful applicant will demonstrate attention to detail and an analytical mindset, analysing and synthesising complex information and issues into meaningful and practical advice.
Our ideal candidate will be customer focused, able to work in a team or independently, familiar with energy and utilities law and have experience in statutory interpretation and drafting contracts and tenders.
