About the role

This varied and fulfilling role will touch on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to the employee experience and exit processes.

Based primarily at our head office in Bairnsdale, the People & Culture Advisor will assist in the delivery of strategic workforce planning actions and resourcing initiatives for the organisation, from enhancing the talent pipeline to innovative attraction campaigns for skilled specialists.

The People & Culture Advisor will act as the first point of engagement for jobseekers and new employees. And work closely with Hiring Managers to provide high level advice and guidance throughout the delivery of fair and merit-based end to end recruitment activities across our organisation.

About you

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for workforce planning, with the ability to think strategically and creatively to drive initiatives and the confidence to build strong working relationships, internally, with community and with prospective candidates.

You will have the opportunity to utilise your strong knowledge of recruitment and strategic workforce planning to lead and coordinate recruitment activities, from advertising to onboarding, and contribute to ongoing employee engagement, retention and exit experiences.

If you have demonstrated knowledge and experience in transactional end to end recruitment activities, a positive and proactive approach, and the ability to build strong working relationships then we would like to hear from you.

This full-time ongoing role is substantively based at our Bairnsdale Head Office, however occasional travel across the East Gippsland Region will be required as part of this role.

This role has been classified as per our Enterprise Agreement as a Band 3 position, from $70,081 - $91,032 per annum (plus minimum ATO Superannuation Guarantee Percentage) based on skills, experience and qualifications.
