The Position

Metro Trains currently have an exciting opportunity for highly experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the Talent Acquisition team on a minimum 6 month fixed term contract. The Operations portfolio sits in our Passenger Delivery division and includes operation planning, safety & security, network operations, operations integration, train services and stations.

Reporting to the respective Talent Acquisition Partner, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for providing high quality talent acquisition advice for specialised roles and volume recruitment. By partnering with hiring managers and HR Business Partners, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will conduct the end to end recruitment for their respective divisions.

This is a role where adding value, building relationships and being the subject matter expert is imperative. Key to your application will be your experience in end-to-end recruitment developed in fast-paced, highly challenging environments. Your ability to influence outcomes and capitalise on opportunities by understanding stakeholder needs and acting on them accordingly will be imperative.

Your ability to thrive in high pressured situations, in conjunction with your positive and highly energetic mindset, will also ensure your success in this critical role.
