What you'll be doing
The Allied Health Manager/Manager Community Programs is responsible for all allied health staff and community programs personnel across Drug and Alcohol (D&A). The staffing includes D&A Counsellors, Consultation &Liaison Nurse and Gambling counsellors, Community D&A Team Leaders at Lower North Shore, Hornsby, Mona Vale, Brookvale, Ryde and their staff. 

Participation in the Drug and Alcohol Executive On-Call roster is required.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

1. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them
2. Tertiary clinical and management qualifications, or extensive relevant management experience, or a combination of both study and work experience
3. Demonstrated ability to professionally manage a multi-disciplinary workforce, ensuring and maintaining high clinical and professional standards
4. Demonstrated ability to develop and manage contemporary drug and alcohol treatment services across broad settings
5. Demonstrated ability to meet KPI requirements and to work within budgets
6. Demonstrated brief, program evaluation and submission writing skills
7. Able to demonstrate significant professional knowledge and judgement
8. Current NSW Driver’s License
