About this opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Education Officer to develop and deliver learning programs and resources for K-12 students and teachers, children and families, lifelong learners and students of the Library and Information profession virtually, in the Library and on tour across NSW.

About you

We are looking for someone who’s enthusiastic, energetic and creative to develop and deliver learning programs that attract strong visitation to the Library and expand our audiences across NSW and beyond.

You will be a confident, articulate communicator and enjoy working independently and collaboratively within a small high achieving team. Strong leadership skills are required to guide the design of learning programs to build new audiences for the Library.

You will also have relevant tertiary qualifications in primary, secondary or K-12 school education, together with teaching experience in a school at primary or secondary level or experience as an educator in a cultural organisation.

Also required is a satisfactory Working with Children Check (WWCC), current Class C NSW Driver’s License and First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain one if needed for operational requirements.
