The Children’s Hospital, Westmead
The National Centre for Immunisation Research & Surveillance (NCIRS) has an opportunity for an organised and motivated Research Assistant to join the dynamic Social Science team supporting planning and implementing the national surveillance project measuring drivers of vaccine uptake.

This appointment will be part-time temporary until 30th June 2025. NCIRS supports flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working agreements.
About NCIRS
The National Centre for Immunisation Research and Surveillance (NCIRS) is the leading research organisation in Australia that provides objective expert advice on all aspects of vaccine preventable diseases, and other issues related to immunisation, to inform policy and planning for immunisation services in Australia. Research and surveillance activities include the surveillance of vaccine preventable diseases, monitoring of vaccination coverage, vaccination program evaluations, vaccine safety monitoring and social research. NCIRS also provides technical support for the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
NCIRS is based within the Division of Research of the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network, Westmead Campus, NSW, Australia, but has an all-age research remit. NCIRS is affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and Health and the Sydney Institute for Infectious Diseases (Sydney ID) at the University of Sydney. www.ncirs.org.au
