ABOUT THE ROLE
The position of Associate Director Safety is responsible for the strategic leadership of the NSW Ambulance work health and safety portfolio and the development of operational work health and safety risk management strategies to foster positive organisational change across the NSW Ambulance workforce. The position is responsible for the effective management and strategic development of the enterprise work health and safety program. The position is responsible for policy and program development to minimise work health and safety risk exposure and improve organisational performance and compliance.
The incumbent is required to proactively develop and implement performance indicators aligned to the Government’s KPIs in the risk area. The Associate Director Safety provides complex advice and input into the development and implementation of workforce strategies to support NSW Ambulance.
