Continuous Improvement Analyst
- $106,700 per annum + superannuation
- Fixed Term Contract until 16th January, 2026
- Geelong based (hybrid working model – 3 days in the office)

About the role
Are you a passionate and experienced Continuous Improvement professional looking to take the next step in your career?
Working within the People and Culture business unit and the WorkSmart division, this role partners with business areas to resolve process improvement opportunities to ensure the organisation’s processes are efficient and effective..
Key accountabilities:
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives in accordance with WorkSafe's continuous improvement framework, including the development of accurate documentation and identify risks in relation to the implementation of new processes and capability changes.
- Effectively partner with business units and specialist areas, obtaining commitment to enable change associated with operational improvement initiatives, including promoting changes to practices, policy and building capability within teams.
- Produce quality, meaningful and integrated process and value stream maps.
- Conduct detailed analysis and interpretation of client and stakeholder needs that contribute to the development and delivery of process or capability changes and supports the achievement of WorkSafe's strategic outcomes.
- Provide Continuous Improvement advice to business stakeholders in relation to process, people and technology changes that contributes to the business delivering on goals and objectives.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and uptake of WorkSafe's continuous improvement framework, including the development of tools and templates and delivery of training to SME staff within Continuous Improvement activities.

About you
You are experienced in continuous improvement and enjoy delivering high quality support to large teams. Your verbal communication is excellent and you have strong interpersonal skills with an ability to quickly build rapport with others. Furthermore, you will also possess:
- Demonstrated practical application of Continuous Improvement methodologies in medium to large organisations.
- Demonstrated skills in mapping customer journeys and “end to end” processes along with identifying opportunities for improvements.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in the provision of expert and high quality advice and recommendations to senior management, facilitation of Continuous Improvement workshops, and engaging staff with process and task analysis.
- Advanced computer skills and data analysis capability using Microsoft Word/Excel, ICT systems, collaboration and productivity applications and Continuous/Business Improvement tools.
- Understanding of change management principles and implementation
- Ability to align activities to organisational goals
- Excellent client focus and ability to influence and manage client expectations in order to deliver outcomes. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- High attention to detail
- High levels of emotional intelligence
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Experience managing competing priorities and reaching deadlines
Qualifications:
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and/or relevant vocational or tertiary qualifications in human resources, business, or project management
