About the role

The Senior HR Business Partner utilises expertise within their professional HR discipline to support the organisation in optimising the performance of teams and implementing business solutions that  improve work practices and the employee experience.

The Senior HR Business Partner provides their clients with a complete strategic and operational perspective as they develop, adapt and execute their strategic and operational plans. You will coach your HR Business Partner colleagues in order to achieve the wider business strategic agenda and drive continuous improvement with the client groups and the People and Culture team.

Your key accountabilities will include:

• Undertake regular and systematic analysis of business requirements against the organisational strategic plan, operational priorities and capability assessments to drive workforce planning and cultural development through your client groups.
• Drive the successful implementation of the new People & Culture service delivery model and business plan through the Business Partnering team.
• Support client groups with the successful management and resolution of employee relations matters and work in partnership with the Workplace Relations team in interpreting policy and addressing any industrial relations risks.
• Support and lead the delivery of organisational change,associated communications and develop and implement change plans, consultation processes, resourcing requirements and management of redeployment cases.

About you

You are an experienced HR professional who wants to make a difference. You're resilient and influential, with highly developed emotional intelligence and stakeholder management skills. You are a team oriented person who enjoys delivering outcomes and making a positive impact on your team and stakeholders.

• Demonstrated experience as a leader with generalist HR skills and a good working knowledge of complex change management, organisational development, employee relations and health, safety & wellbeing.
• Strong capability and confidence in coaching and influencing stakeholders on the merits of sound performance management, HR strategic initiatives, employee engagement and the consistent application of policy.
• Demonstrated knowledge of IR, OD, OHS & relevant legislation.
• Postgraduate qualifications in HR or a related discipline preferred.
