Reports say digital credential sharing between Services Australia and Service NSW has paused.

The initiative to integrate digital credentials between Services Australia and Service NSW has stalled following a change in the state government earlier this year, according to iTnews. 

Opposition senators have obtained documents under Freedom of Information laws, revealing that the project has been put on hold. 

Services Australia says that work on sharing credentials with Service NSW has not progressed beyond initial discussions. 

While the two agencies are still communicating, there is no clear indication of when, or if, the project will resume. 

Notably, no specific funding has been allocated for this work.
