ICAC hears receipt claim
South Australia’s ICAC has found that a public servant who submitted a “fake receipt” was not corrupt.
Two employees at the South Australian Department for Infrastructure and Transport have faced the state’s Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), accused of misusing their government spending card, using them for almost $400,000 worth of purchases in three years.
They were accused of entering false receipts to keep the online expense management system “happy”.
One of the staff recorded a $2,000 computer hardware purchase with a note that read: “Fake receipt to keep Pro Master happy
