AUSFUEL Gull wins NT contract
The Northern Territory Government has announced it has awarded local petroleum company AUSFUEL Gull a $90 million contract to supply fuel to the Government.
The contract will secure the NTG’s fuel requirements for the next five years for use in more than 3500 vehicles, plant and machinery,” Deputy Chief Minister Robyn Lambley said.
“The company came from small beginnings with petrol being delivered from a single tanker in the Katherine region.
“It is now based in Darwin, employs more than 330 staff in the Territory and over 900 throughout Australia,” she said.
“AUSFUEL Gull has an extensive fuel distribution network with 72 retail outlets across the Territory and has committed to making further investment over 12 months to increase the number of outlets to 91 providing more jobs and better servicing for remote communities.
The transition to AUSFUEL Gull is expected to be completed next month.
