Three vacancies are available, two in Katherine and one in Tennant Creek.

Power and Water Corporation is a Northern Territory Government (NTG) owned utility that operates across a geographic area of 1.3 million square kilometres and within a range of diverse environmental conditions, ranging from the arid dry of the central desert to the tropical monsoon of the top end. The corporation generates, transmits and distributes electricity, supplies water and wastewater treatment services across the Northern Territory (NT) for the benefit of residents, including remote and isolated Aboriginal communities and outstations.

We have Three exciting ongoing position’s available two in Katherine and one in Tennant Creek, that will offer you the opportunity to build your career in the electricity industry by undertaking projects associated with constructing and maintaining electricity supply distribution assets which include HV and LV switchgear, transformers, cables, street lighting and metering, and light and power cabling.  

You will have trade qualifications as a qualified and licenced Linesman and be eligible to be classified as an electrical worker in the Northern Territory. Live line qualifications would be well regarded. A current Northern Territory HR licence or eligibility to obtain one is necessary.

Salary level is dependent on knowledge, skill and experience.
