Role Outline

The Director Public Health Response Systems leads the development and implementation, of critical state-wide public health response systems to ensure operational and strategic objectives are met. The Director provides leadership and oversight of the whole health protection ecosystem and program of work that identifies potential adverse events and assists in large scale public health incidents and pandemics

Essential Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent professional experience at a senior level, with substantial management experience in procurement, contract development and business change processes
  • Detailed understanding of public health business context and sustainable information system development
  • Substantial knowledge and experience of large and complex data assets used in NSW health, and the processes for data governance, data management, analysis and state-wide reporting

This is a term, full time, Band 1, Public Service senior executive (PSSE) role. An attractive remuneration package within the range of $195,562 to $218,616 per annum, with annual performance reviews, will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
