Role Outline

The Chief Digital Health Officer creates the digital health strategy for the business. Advanced digital capability is critical to optimising the benefits of; the substantial capital redevelopment taking place; evolving technology enabled models of clinical care; and exploiting the rich data resources of the district.

The successful candidate will have: 

Key knowledge and experience

  • Demonstrated management and leadership experience in driving ICT objectives and implementing technological changes within a complex environment
  • Demonstrated experience and successful track record in solution delivery of large, complex ICT systems

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or demonstrated, equivalent professional experience and training

  1. Detail your previous experience in successfully leading change within a complex and diverse health system that directly led to improvements in an Information Technology Services environment
  2. Provide examples where you have led and delivered strategic ICT initiatives. Include the details around the key challenges, solutions, outcomes, risks & risk mitigation strategies.

This is an ongoing, full time, Band 1, Health Service senior executive (HSSE) role. An attractive remuneration package within the range of $208,519 to $231,573 per annum (SOORT 2019), with annual performance reviews, will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
