Our Medical Services has a vacancy for a full time Business Manager. Medical Services incorporates our Medical Workforce through the engagement of Doctors across ED, Wards, Sub Acute and the Medical Centre (including Specialists, Medical officers and General Practitioners). Also reporting to the division is Radiology, Pharmacy and Primary Health Medical Centre.

Reporting to the Director of Medical Services, the Business Manager will assist in developing the division and its departments towards business efficiencies and best consumer care and experience.

Applicant’s will not require clinical experience, but will have a diverse background in developing best practice and change management towards identifying and implementing efficiencies. They will have a high level of communications skills and demonstrated abilities in problem solving and consultation towards measured improvements. The ability to manage upwards as well as downwards will be most desirable.

Key Selection criteria

  • Tertiary Qualification in business or Health Management
  • Demonstrated ability to align strategic and business imperatives
  • Highly developed Organisational skills including advanced computer skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, under pressure and to tight dead lines.
