The North Central Catchment Management Authority protects and enhances the integrity of our catchments, by working in partnership with communities to deliver enduring natural resource management outcomes. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our Major Projects team to fulfil a role that is both extremely exciting and stimulating.

Located out of our Huntly office (near Bendigo), the ecology project manager is an important position in the delivery of large-scale floodplain and wetland restoration works. Working amongst a team of highly motivated and skilled professionals, the project work aims to achieve balanced outcomes for the environment, agriculture and local communities.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in collaboration and building partnerships with a range of stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver public presentations
  • Demonstrated experience in all aspects of project management
  • A passion for the environment, with a tertiary qualification in environmental science or a related discipline.
