 The Mallee Catchment Management Authority (MCMA) is seeking an innovative project management professional and skilful communicator to make a significant contribution to the important work of managing high value floodplain assets across the MCMA region.

The position is based in Mildura and will play a pivotal role in planning, developing and implementing a range of strategic and priority projects at a regional scale. It is a unique opportunity to have end to end control, from business case to evaluation of major floodplain projects.

The successful applicant will have highly developed skills in project/contract management with the capacity to engage with a wide variety of audiences; scientific, emergency management, community and industry representatives alike.

Tertiary qualifications in Environmental or Civil Engineering, Hydrology or equivalent; and five years demonstrated experience in a similar role is a requirement.

This position offers flexible work life balance arrangements. It is available on a two year full time basis with extension subject to funding. An attractive salary package is available and will be negotiable based on experience and expertise of the successful applicant.
