RESEARCH SCIENTIST
The focus of this position will be research projects to improve the profitability of pasture based dairy systems. Working in an innovative research environment, the position involves field and laboratory based experimental activities, and implementation of pasture and animal-based sensor technologies, with particular reference to ruminant nutrition in grazing-based systems. You will have the opportunity to work alongside internationally recognised scientists, further develop your experience in designing and implementing experiments, add to your publication record and be involved in supervising post graduate students.

The position of Research Scientist sits within DJPR and is part of the Agriculture Victoria Research Branch within the Agriculture Victoria Group.
Agriculture Victoria works with industry and community stakeholders to support the agriculture, food and fibre sector to become more globally competitive, innovative and resilient.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Records Check prior to commencing employment with the Department.
