Wannon Water is seeking applications from suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic persons for the full time temporary position of Risk & Emergency Management Officer. The successful applicant will work as part of our People & Business Services Department based in Warrnambool. This role is available for a period of 12 months, replacing the permanent incumbent on parental leave.

The position includes responsibility for delivering a range of projects within the Risk & Resilience team, which support the implementation of the Integrated Management System and Emergency Management requirements. This will include delivering a detailed ongoing works program in close association with a range of Wannon Water employees, consultants, contractors, regulators and industry partners. A key activity for 2017 is to develop and manage an emergency management exercise.

 Applicants will need to demonstrate that they:

  •  Possess relevant experience in the key areas set out in the position description.
  • Are highly motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Possess well developed computer skills
  • Can work effectively in a team environment.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills

 Applicants with qualifications and/or experience in Emergency Management would find this role interesting and challenging.

 This position has a salary range of $70,303.57 to $76,436.37(Band 6) p.a. plus superannuation. This position is based in the Warrnambool office with flexible working arrangements to include either full time or part time (a minimum of 4 days per week) employment.
