What you’ll do: 

  • Provide coaching and be the point of escalation and resolution to the HR Administrators and Coordinators
  • Monitor the Case Management system to ensure proper triaging and quality of responses to queries is adequate
  • Ensure data integrity through overseeing processes of accurate data entry and facilitating peer checking of letters of offer
  • Ensure the team’s follow up and close the loop activities, including the follow up of end dates, are performed timely
  • Identify opportunities and assist HR customers to self-serve
  • Identify areas for improvement to ensure supporting systems (e.g. ServiceNOW) and HR processes support customer centric approach
  • Foster strong working relationships with HR team members
  • Support the HR Operations team with UAT and other system implementation activities as required
  • Administer HR programs such as Splash
  • Other ad-hoc HR generalist duties, relieving members of the HR Operations team during busy periods and/or to cover leave and supporting the broader HR team as required.

What we are looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, IR or similar
  • HR Operations knowledge
  • Sound knowledge of and demonstrated experience with contemporary HR practices
  • Solid HR generalist experience
  • Strong experience in the use of HR / Payroll systems
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office – Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Proven ability to coach and develop team members with different capability levels and needs
  • Strong judgement and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-developed organisational and prioritising skills, coupled with the ability to meet competing deadlines
  • Confidence in dealing with different levels within an organisation, including senior leaders
  • HR Shared Services experience is highly desirable
