The Role
As a PHP Developer, you will use your skills and experience to take digital designs and produce stable, secure, and reliable digital applications that will make a difference in the lives of all NSW residents and Service NSW staff. Working in an Agile product team, you will lead the end to end product development through build, release, maintenance and enhancement phases, to deliver high quality products that are thoroughly tested and optimised for open source products such as Drupal.


As a PHP Developer, you will have:

  • proven front-end and/or back-end Drupal (D7/D8) or PHP development experience.
  • strong skill in PHP, Drupal 8 site & custom module building, MySQL, javascript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, React, JsonLogic, Angular and API integrations.
  • extensive experience in test driven development and cloud deployment/management.
  • high motivation to create excellent digital customer experiences.


You will stand out if you also have:

  • full stack development experience.
  • experience managing projects or software development within Agile/DevOps environment.
  • understanding of developing accessible and inclusive digital experiences.
  • experience delivering websites from architecture through post-launch support and monitoring, 
  • contributed to the Drupal or PHP Community.
  • excellent communication skills: able communicate with developers, clients and non-technical people in both written and oral forms.

Remuneration
SNSW Grade 9/10 - Package includes a base salary range of ($109,079 to $131,382), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
