About us

The Coroners Court of Victoria is an inquisitorial jurisdiction. Its role is to conduct an independent investigation into reportable deaths and fires, for the purpose of finding the cause of those deaths and fires and identifying opportunities for future death prevention.

About the role

The Business Systems Manager is responsible for providing expert and high-level Information Technology (IT) systems analysis and technical support to the Coroners Court to ensure a seamless day to day IT operating function.

In addition to coordinating immediate technical support for the Coroners Court in partnership with Court Service Victoria IT colleagues, the position will also play an important enabling role for the Coroners Court as it undertakes a sustained uplift of service delivery support systems.

About you

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A high level of business and technical capability, coupled with outstanding communication skills and the ability to exert influence in a cross-functional environment
  • A proven track record in IT service delivery, project management and stakeholder engagement, as well as a sound knowledge of network infrastructure
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting core case management and telephony systems, content management systems, in-court technology systems, and MS Office 365 business applications
