VCAT is seeking a change-driven leader to manage a large team in our growing Human Rights Division.

Job Description

VCAT is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead a team of staff and leaders within the Human Rights Division. The successful candidate will be an effective leader who knows how to support, motivate and develop their team members.  They will also be an innovator who is always looking for more efficient ways to work. 

The Role:

Working as part of a large team within the Human Rights Division, the Deputy Manager, working with the Manager, will be responsible for ensuring the team delivers effective and efficient administrative and client services in a fast paced and high-volume work environment.  The Deputy Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of the team by providing advice and people management support to team leaders, managing work volumes and priorities and exercising delegated powers relating to case management.

The successful candidate will have highly developed people management skills, demonstrated ability to plan and deliver high quality, timely and accurate services in a high volume and fast paced environment.  With a continuous improvement mindset and ‘can do' attitude you will be able to continue our journey to embed a customer focused approach within the team.
