Family Violence Case Manager, Melbourne Magistrates' Court 

This unique, court-based role provides case management support to people with complex needs who are on bail at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court.

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Family Violence Case Manager to be part of this exciting time of growth and change as we expand the Court Integrated Services Program (CISP) at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court.

Case managers are integral members of the CISP team, delivering high quality case management to clients with complex needs who are involved with the court system.   Working within the court environment, you will provide our clients with support to address the issues that are contributing to their offending behaviours. As a family violence case manager, you will also apply your specialist expertise in supporting the work of the team in addressing family-violence related client risks and support needs.

We encourage you to apply if you possess the following:

  • Relevant qualifications in social work, psychology or a related field
  • Extensive experience in working with clients impacted by family violence
  • Case management experience in engaging and working with clients with complex needs
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with external stakeholders
  • A strong team player with effective communication skills and a flexible approach
