VCAT is seeking dynamic, change-driven individuals to fill these new and exciting roles within our Human Rights Division (HRD).
The Case Managers will join our evolving Human Rights Division and be part of an exciting pilot case management team dedicated to providing greater access to justice, quality customer centric services and timely outcomes.
The Human Rights Division hears cases under the Guardianship and Administration Act 1986, Medical Treatment Planning and Decisions Act 2016, Powers of Attorney Act 2014, Equal Opportunity Act 2010, Health Records Act 2001, Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014, Disability Act 2006, Mental Health Act 2014 and other relevant legislation. The successful applicant will have an opportunity to make a genuine contribution by delivering effective and efficient guardianship and human rights services to the community of Victoria.
The Role:
These are newly created roles within the Human Rights Division. The successful applicants will be responsible for the delivery of collaborative assessment, coordination and end-to-end case management of applications made to HRD at VCAT. The roles will undertake intensive case management incorporating administrative and business functions with a strong customer focus designed to promote awareness and understanding of VCAT processes and legislative requirements.
