A rare opportunity exists to become a key part of the leadership team that takes the ground breaking Family Drug Treatment Court forward into the next exciting phase of its development.
The Children's Court of Victoria is currently piloting a highly innovative approach to the issue of parental substance abuse in the Court's Child Protection jurisdiction through the Family Drug Treatment Court. The Court is seeking a highly experienced and motivated senior manager, to lead the program into its next exciting phase. The pilot has been running for three years, and the Court is considering how to take this highly successful pilot program to scale. The role of Statewide Program Manager combines operational program management of a small but dedicated team of experienced clinicians, with a strategic development focus on program expansion, to embed the Family Drug Treatment Court into the Children's Court in other locations across the state.
The role is based at the Broadmeadows Children's Court - a dynamic and innovative workplace that encompasses a child-friendly environment and a range of less adversarial legal practices including the Family Drug Treatment Court, Case Docketing, and the Koori Hearing Day (Marram-Ngala Ganbu). If you have a passion for social justice, a demonstrated track record of leadership, coaching and people management skills in the community services field, and the desire to make a difference, then we look forward to hearing from you.
