Treatment Optimisation Engineer - [Archived Advertisement]

East Gippsland Water (EGW) is seeking an experienced, professional and motivated individual to join the Treatment team for a newly created position that is a full-time ongoing role.

EGW serves an area of 21,000 square kilometres in the south east of Victoria, which boasts some of Australia's most diverse and spectacular scenery and a population of around 45,000 people, we provide water services to 25,700 customers with wastewater services to around 21,900 of these customers

Reporting to the Manager Treatment Services, you will be expected to:

• Lead treatment process improvements and showcase your technical expertise in the areas of water treatment, wastewater treatment and reuse.
• Take a lead role in maintaining drinking water quality, wastewater quality and environmental management systems to ensure legislative requirements are met.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of water, wastewater and reuse assets.
